Hi,

Below are some of my best resources.

Feel free to check them out but please ONLY use any of these resources after doing your own personal research or taking advice where necessary.

No company mentioned below should be considered Financial Advice. Always seek advice, do your research and make the decision that suits your personal circumstances.

For full disclosure, please note that there are some affiliate links below. If you buy, there may be a contribution to TheHumblePenny.com to help it stay free to use. This does not affect my honesty or choice of these products. There is no extra cost to you.

I am sharing them because I genuinely believe they might be helpful to you. The circumstances of some of these companies might ofcourse change over time. Enjoy!

best resources - hargreaves lansdown

Hargreaves Lansdown is the UK’s largest supermarket (platform) for investing in Stocks and shares, funds, etc. I use them personally to invest money for me and my children, in addition to Vanguard. They have a neat mobile app and great customer service. Plus, a wide range of products to invest in, etc. Check out their Stocks and Shares ISA and SIPP products.

Try Hargreaves

Quidco

Quidco is a very popular UK cashback site. You get a cashback when you make purchases online or in store. It is FREE to join and easy to use. Definitely one to sign up to asap and enjoy the savings!

Try Quidco

AMEX is on the list purely because I use it to save money on travel by collecting avios points. You can get their card for FREE and pay no annual fees. Only do this if you manage cash well!

If you make planned expenses on the card, you get 1 avios point for every £1. Avios can be used to book entire flights or get discounts. I recently booked an entire trip to Florence with 20,000 points for example. Get 6,000 bonus avios points if you spend £1k in the first 3 months.

Try AMEX

Save Money using Chip!

Chip is an app that does all the hard work of helping you save money automatically. It is FREE and compatible with most UK bank accounts. All you need to do is connect it to your online banking and it gathers info on your spending and works out how much you can save. Every few days, it simply transfers an amount it believes you can into a savings account held at Barclays bank.

You get 1% interest (up to 5% max) on your money for every friend you refer.

Try Chip

Try Money DashBoard!

Money Dashboard pulls together all your online accounts in one dashboard. This includes current accounts, savings accounts, credit cards etc.

It’s FREE to use, and best of all, it automatically categorises all your expenses beautifully and displays them is colourful charts.

In this way, you can see exactly what you’re spending on and what you should save money on.

Try Dashboard

Try Experian!

Experian is great for taking a financial selfie! It helps you generate your credit score and a full picture of your financial life.

Get your FREE Experian Credit Score as it will highlight areas of improvement. Also, the better your score, the more you’ll save on any future borrowings as you’ll likely get better interest rates.

Try Experian

Topcashback is UK’s highest paying cashback site. You get a cashback when you make purchases online or in store. It is FREE to join and easy to use. Definitely one to sign up to asap!

Try TopCashBack

Try Gourmet Society!

Gourmet Society is a UK dining club that offers you the opportunity to eat out for less. I love this alot and enjoy the savings at great restaurants.

They have 2 brilliant offers you can explore. Offer 1 – Get 3 months trial for only £1. Grab it fast! Offer  2 –  40% off their annual membership for only £39.95. Incredible value!

Try Convertkit!Convertkit is the must-have powerful email system that I use to run The Humble Penny. It’s the best email marketing software out there and does not break the bank at all. It is brilliant if you’re a non-techy like me. It will help you send email broadcasts, grow your audience, understand your subscribers through tagging and segmenting, and build real trust with your tribe.

Try Convertkit

Try Bluehost.Bluehost is one that I use for my website hosting. I also chose them because they offer you a Free Domain name and very cheap hosting packages. Given our good relationship with them, for a limited time only, they’ve offered our readers a special rate of only $3.95 (£2.95) per month for hosting.

Try Bluehost

Try Sumo Pro!Sumo Pro is what I use to grow my subscriber base and automate my site.

It helps me see how well my content is performing as well as create heat maps. The pop-up forms you see on my site also come from this app. Finally, you can generate a variety of smart optin forms to help you market your content.

Try Sumo Pro

Try Social Warfare Pro!

Social Warfare is a very robust plugin to WordPress for Social sharing. The beautiful social sharing buttons you see on my site come from them. Get the “Pro” version as the free version has limitations. It’s only $29 a year.

I should also add that their support team is fantastic. They respond super quickly if you have an issue.

Try Social Warfare

Try Genesis Theme

Genesis Theme by StudioPress is the unique theme that I use on this site. It is also one of the most loved themes by influential bloggers. The best part is, it’s super cheap! You pay a small one-off fee of $59.95 and that’s it forever! It is fully customisable with WordPress, Sleek, and SEO friendly. It also loads up super fast, which is critical for successful websites.
